This essay was about how the Law in England and Wales treats heterosexual couples as the norm. I was fairly happy with this essay and I got high 2:1 for it I think.
An essay about Porn. Or rather the radical feminist perspective on pornography. The fact it only deals with radical feminists made it really easy as they don't really live on the same planet as anyone else and can't seem to understand why no-one else sees things the same way. One lecturer wanted to give we around 80% for it, the other said that was too high for someone like me, but it was still a first. This one shouldn't be too affected by time seeing as it's all theory.
Media regulation was the subject of this one. This essay, I think, will be out of date now. Still, I got a first for Media and the coursework made up 75% of the total mark so, even if I do say so myself, it's a fairly accurate portrayal of media regulation pre-2004 - even though I wasn't happy with this essay while I was writing it.
We did our Contract and Tort all as the same module. This essay was studying the different reasons for awarding compensatory damages in contract, tort and restitution, and was actually quite interesting. Think I got a good 2:1 for this one too. Again, I think this one should be able to stand the test of time.
Ha ha! Erm, this one is about participator violence in sport. Largely based solely on the one text book we were told to buy with some added commentary by me against the pleb who obviously only plays golf and yet is one of the most prominent sports lawyers in the country. I got 75% and still can't work out how I managed to beat Al by 3% when our essays were 99% the same.
